Basketball Recap: South Aiken's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

South Aiken's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past the Airport Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 61-44. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-52 back in December of 2024.

Kelton Walker was a one-man wrecking crew for South Aiken as he dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keon Raysor, who posted eight points.

With the victory, South Aiken broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-13. As for Airport, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

South Aiken and Aiken will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. South Aiken is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season. As for Airport, they will face off against Midland Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Airport is facing Midland Valley at the right time seeing as Midland Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
