Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the East Grand Forks Green Wave. This was payback for the Rebels, who suffered an 11-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for East Grand Forks, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 11-1.
