Preview: Mehlville vs. Hazelwood West
On Friday Mehlville take on Hazelwood West at 4:15 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
Mehlville made easy work of DeSoto last Friday and carried off a 52-22 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Mehlville had established a 52-22 advantage.
Meanwhile, Hazelwood West was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on they to the tune of 46-6.
Their wins bumped Hazelwood West to 2-0 and Mehlville to 1-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up they can run the score.
