Baseball Recap: Grants Victorious

Grants posted their closest victory since May 10, 2025 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Los Alamos Hilltoppers 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Hilltoppers on Saturday, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

The victory got Grants back to even at 4-4. As for Los Alamos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Grants will challenge Bernalillo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Spartans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Los Alamos, they will take on Roswell in a tournament on Thursday.
