Recap: Braymer Bobcats vs. Maysville Wolverines
After flying high against the Polo Panthers on Thursday, the Braymer Bobcats came back down to earth. Braymer fell 59-52 to Maysville on Saturday. Braymer has not had much luck with Maysville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carter Shoe, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Shoe is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Dakota Brandon was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 9 rebounds.
Braymer's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Maysville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Braymer's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Southwest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Thursday. As for Maysville, they will head out on the road to face off against Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
