Northland Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a hard 53-37 fall against the Williams Vikings. One positive for the Spartans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Northland Prep Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellysia Martinez, who posted seven points along with seven boards and five steals.

Northland Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Williams, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Northland Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-22 loss against Valley on the 11th. Williams has also already played their next game, a 47-36 victory against Grand Canyon on the 11th.
