Basketball Game Recap: Dowling Catholic Maroons vs. Providence Academy Lions

The Dowling Catholic Maroons were the 49-46 winner over the Providence Academy Lions when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Dowling Catholic fell just short of Providence Academy by a score of 79-76. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Maddyn Greenway went supernova for Providence Academy, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 11 rebounds. Emma Millerbernd was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Dowling Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Providence Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
