Volleyball Recap: Newtown Nighthawks vs. Joel Barlow Falcons
After flying high against Kolbe-Cathedral last Wednesday, Newtown came back down to earth. The Nighthawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Joel Barlow Falcons on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
While Newtown had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.
