Softball Recap: College Park Comes Up Short

College Park was the 7-3 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The College Park Falcons fell 7-4 to the Liberty Lions on Thursday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaitlyn Sparks was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

College Park now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. College Park will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cardinal Newman at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st. Liberty also won't see the field for a while: their next match is against Castro Valley at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
