South Loup piles up the points against Sandhills Valley

Recap: South Loup vs. Sandhills Valley Mavericks

South Loup scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Sandhills Valley 58-28 on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for South Loup as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Bryn Schwarz, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 steals. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of South Loup's points. Another player making a difference was Josie Reiff, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

South Loup's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Sandhills Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Loup will take on Mullen at TBD on Friday. As for Sandhills Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hyannis on Tuesday. Hyannis is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
