Basketball Game Preview: William Penn Charter Quakers vs. AZ Compass Prep National Dragons

Having just played yesterday, the William Penn Charter Quakers will jump right back in to play the AZ Compass Prep National Dragons at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Sunday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, William Penn Charter beat Greensboro Day School 52-46. The win was all the more spectacular given the Quakers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 50th in Pennsylvania, while the Bengals are ranked sixth in North Carolina).

Meanwhile, AZ Compass Prep National can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on December 13th. They secured a 58-54 W over Brewster Academy National.

William Penn Charter has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for AZ Compass Prep National, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
