Barnesville extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 11-9 in the process. Everything went their way against the Shadyside Tigers as they made off with a 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Shadyside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 2.57 runs allowed.

For Shadyside's part, Cole Micker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Damian Russell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barnesville will take on Caldwell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redskins' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Shamrocks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
