Soccer Game Preview: Weslaco East vs. Porter

The Weslaco East Wildcats will take on the Porter Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Weslaco East: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Porter has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Last Tuesday, Weslaco East didn't have quite enough to beat Donna and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Porter unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and Pace finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Cowboys happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 10th.

Porter's draw makes their record 6-3-1 this season. As for Weslaco East, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
