Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillsboro-Deering). Everything went their way against the Inter-Lakes Lakers on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Hillcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2024 (when they won 12-2).

Hillsboro-Deering's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Inter-Lakes, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro-Deering will head out to square off against Somersworth at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Inter-Lakes, they will take on Fall Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
