There's no place like home for the Academy for Innovative Education Aviators, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged Non Varsity Opponent out 28-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Academy for Innovative Education has posted yet this season.

Academy for Innovative Education's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexa Torres, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and six steals. Torres is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Ayerdis, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Academy for Innovative Education's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 17 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 92-165 record this season.
