Flag Football Game Preview: River Valley Dust Devils vs. Mohave Accelerated Patriots

The River Valley Dust Devils will venture away from home to take on the Mohave Accelerated Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Mohave Accelerated will be coming in after a loss.

River Valley's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They took down Kingman 14-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dust Devils.

The critical scores for River Valley came from Janae Adams and Alex Gallegos.

River Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Karli Crawford and Adams.

Meanwhile, Mohave Accelerated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 44-0 loss at the hands of Scottsdale Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Eagles are ranked 20th).

River Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mohave Accelerated, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

River Valley took their victory against Mohave Accelerated in their previous matchup back in October by a conclusive 24-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dust Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
