Notre Dame came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the San Gorgonio Spartans a 10-0 shutout. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Kevin Calderon got the start for Notre Dame and what a start it was: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. What's more, Calderon posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for San Gorgonio, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
