            University is  a perfect 10-0 against Preston since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Hawks will head out to  face off against the Knights  at 5:30  p.m. University is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
Preston will  challenge  a team with plenty of momentum: University extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Hawks came out on top against Laurel Highlands by a score of  5-1.

University got a great performance from  Jacob Kennison as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over five innings pitched. Kennison also  tossed a  walk, which is notable because the Hawks are 4-1 when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 9-10 otherwise.
 At the plate, University's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Tommy Montague, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.  Max Cash was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Meanwhile,  neither Preston nor Keyser could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for  a  3-3 draw.
 University's win bumped their record up to 13-11. Preston's  tie makes their record 8-8-1  this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. University has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 2.9  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Preston struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 3.6  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Everything went University's way against Preston in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, as University made off with  a  16-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
