Baseball Recap: Bridgehampton Comes Up Short

If Bridgehampton was riding high fresh off their 17-5 takedown of Amityville Memorial on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Killer Bees took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithtown Christian Knights on Saturday. The Killer Bees haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bridgehampton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Smithtown Christian, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, Bridgehampton and Smithtown Christian will both be playing Amityville Memorial the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Killer Bees will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd.
