Recap: St. Michael the Archangel Warriors vs. Fredericksburg V Victory
The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They took down Fredericksburg V 45-31. That result was just more of the same for these two, as St. Michael the Archangel also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
St. Michael the Archangel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Savannah Teel, who scored 11 points along with seven steals. Janaye Martinez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 20 rebounds.
St. Michael the Archangel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Fredericksburg V, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Michael the Archangel will play host again and welcome Varsity Opponent, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fredericksburg V, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfax HomeSchool at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
