Aurora Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Forreston Cardinals on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

Hope Wagner paced Aurora Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Wagner got some help from Breanna Hard and her 19 assists.

Aurora Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Forreston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-26-2.

Coming up, Aurora Christian will take on Earlville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Forreston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
