Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stone). They blew past the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws 42-7 on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Stone found their leader in sophomore Ayden Green, who rushed for 107 yards and two scores on only six carries. Zander Howard was another key player, throwing for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes.

Stone's run defense was locked in: St. Stanislaus could only muster 1.5 yards per carry. While two picked up at least seven total tackles, Colton Ladner stood above the rest. He made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss). Stone didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.9.

Stone didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jacoby Jones and Kenneth Boggs. Jones got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
