Soccer Recap: Raleigh Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Raleigh Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenville Christian Academy Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Greenville Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Monday.

Raleigh Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh Christian Academy will square off against Calvary Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they will challenge Wilson Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Greenville Christian Academy will be up against Wilson Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.78 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
