Basketball Recap: South Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

If West wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played South, they should've done a better job of containing John Glover. The South Bulldogs came out on top against the West Cowboys by a score of 58-51 on Tuesday thanks in part to Glover, who posted 27 points. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high.

South has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for West, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-8.

South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-32 defeat against Africentric Early College on the 31st. West has also already played their next contest, a 51-47 loss against Eastmoor Academy on the 31st.
