While Little Miami's win against Loveland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Little Miami had just enough and edged out Loveland 8-6. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Faith Thompson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Thompson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hailey Van Bibber, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ashleigh Meece, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Little Miami's record now sits at 3-0. As for Loveland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Miami will face off against Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loveland, they will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Healthy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
