Football Recap: Little Rock Southwest Takes a Loss

Little Rock Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of the Bryant Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Hornets are ranked first).

Little Rock Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bryant, their record is now 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Little Rock Southwest is set to face off against their familiar foe Little Rock Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bryant will challenge rival Cabot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
