Volleyball Recap: Foxcroft Comes Up Short

Foxcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Highland Hawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Highland this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-20.

Addy Eversole paced Foxcroft's offense, picking up seven kills. Eversole got some help from Lucy Pachas and her seven assists. Clair Wu controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Highland found their leader in freshman Olivia Dart, who had 22 assists and five aces. Dart is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Foxcroft's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Highland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Foxcroft has already played their next match (against Madeira), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wakefield School on the 21st.
