Baseball Game Preview: Florida State University High School Seminoles vs. Out-of-Door Academy Thunder

The Florida State University High School Seminoles will venture away from home to square off against the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Florida State University High School didn't have quite enough to beat Braden River and fell 5-4. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cohen Tigerina made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nile Burke, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Out-of-Door Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Cardinal Mooney on Wednesday and fell 6-5.

Out-of-Door Academy suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Florida State University High School, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
