Adelyn Lengerich Game Report: vs Frankfort

Adelyn Lengerich gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in April on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Lengerich's strong effort led Tri-West Hendricks over Frankfort and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hot Dogs are limping into the matchup having lost 13 straight at home dating back to last season.
