David Anderson proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 25) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the East Palestine Bulldogs 57-55. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Devils who have now won five matches in a row.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyler Bourne, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Clark Rutledge, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points and six rebounds.

David Anderson pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for East Palestine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
