Plymouth North is 8-2 against Scituate since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Sailors at 4:00 p.m. Plymouth North will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Plymouth North and Whitman-Hanson Regional, and Plymouth North kept the tradition alive. The Eagles came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Scituate wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Plymouth North pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Scituate, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Plymouth North was able to grind out a solid victory over Scituate in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 7-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
