Basketball Recap: Cedar Hill Takes a Loss

Cedar Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 80-59 to the Lancaster Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Tigers are ranked sixth).

Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Lancaster, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-5.

Cedar Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lancaster, they will head out on the road to square off against Shoemaker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matches -- so hopefully Shoemaker likes a good challenge.
