West Jordan hasn't had much luck against Taylorsville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The West Jordan Jaguars will face off against the Taylorsville Warriors at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in West Jordan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
West Jordan will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Hunter, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. West Jordan strolled past Hunter with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 58-41.

West Jordan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marlee Reupena out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals. Reupena is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Muffett, who posted 22 points and six rebounds.
West Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taylorsville). They managed a 60-56 victory over Granger on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.
West Jordan better keep an eye on Destiny Harrison. She was instrumental in Taylorsville's win, putting up 17 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Harrison a new career-high in rebounds. Kaitlin Sterzer was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
West Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Taylorsville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: West Jordan has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Taylorsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
West Jordan came up short against Taylorsville in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 67-58. Thankfully for West Jordan, Jenna Sterzer (who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
