Turner Ashby's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Wilson Memorial with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Turner Ashby in their matchups with Wilson Memorial: they've now won five in a row.

Turner Ashby hit Wilson Memorial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Solomon Kisembo (2), Fredy 'Daniel' Hernandez (2), Ayden VanHorn, and Erick Santiago.

Meanwhile, Harrisonburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Handley last Wednesday, falling 4-0. Harrisonburg fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Handley since last Wednesday.

Turner Ashby came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrisonburg in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1.
