Basketball Recap: Austin-East Comes Up Short

Austin-East lost against Alcoa back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Austin-East Roadrunners came up short against the Alcoa Tornadoes, falling 100-80. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (66), the Roadrunners still had to take the loss.

Austin-East's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Alcoa, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.
