Soccer Recap: Freeman Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Freeman was not quite Royal's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that Freeman have lost by exactly four goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Freeman and nudges their season record down to 6-4. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-1 Navasota (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 91.7% over those games). As for Royal, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-1.

Freeman has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against New Waverly on the 22nd. As for Royal, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against Navasota on the 23rd.
