Soccer Recap: Thomas Sumter Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. John's Christian Academy last Monday, Thomas Sumter Academy came back down to earth. The Thomas Sumter Academy Generals came up short against the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada on Wednesday, falling 10-0. Jordan Tilman was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Thomas Sumter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas Sumter Academy will venture away from home to take on St. John's Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomas Sumter Academy has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, they will head out to challenge Philip Simmons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
