Plainfield North won the last time they faced Yorkville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Foxes 2-1.

Easton Isaacson paced Plainfield North's offense, picking up six kills. Isaacson also shared the team's lead in assists with Joey cavlovic: they picked up eight each. Joey Baumker controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Plainfield North's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Yorkville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Plainfield North's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Charles East at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last four games the Fighting Saints have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Yorkville, they will square off against Payton College Prep at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. The Foxes are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
