Marist has gone 10-0 against St. Pius X Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Marist War Eagles will be staying on the road to face off against the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Wednesday, Marist got the win against North Forsyth by a conclusive 13-4.

Meanwhile, while St. Pius X Catholic put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Druid Hills. St. Pius X Catholic put the hurt on Druid Hills with a sharp 15-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Golden Lions who have now won three matchups in a row.

Maggie Laba made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Laba was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

In other pitching news, Mary Durieux looked comfortable as she pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
