Baseball Game Preview: Hill-McCloy Rams vs. New Lothrop Hornets

The Hill-McCloy Rams will square off against the New Lothrop Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

After dropping their season opener at home, New Lothrop is headed out to face a Rams team ready to give their home crowd a win. Hill-McCloy came up short against Chesaning on Wednesday, falling 14-0.

Hill-McCloy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Gross, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, New Lothrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to Standish-Sterling.
