Football Recap: East Limestone Falls to Westminster Christian Academy in First Game of Season

East Limestone unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 49-34 fall against the Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Despite the loss, East Limestone still got an impressive performance from Cade Parham, who threw for 226 yards and five TDs on only 17 passes. Keeon Miller helped Parham out on the ground, rushing for 106 yards on only 14 carries, while also catching one touchdown.

East Limestone has already played their next contest, a 19-14 defeat against Hazel Green on the 29th. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-17 loss against Plainview on the 29th.
