Florence posted their closest win since January 12, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Pike Jaguars, sneaking past 32-30. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Despite the defeat, North Pike saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kadence Jordan posted ten points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds Jordan has posted since back in November of 2024.
Florence's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for North Pike, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6.
