Basketball Recap: East Central Comes Up Short

East Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The match between them and Hill City/Northland didn't end well, with the East Central Eagles falling 64-49. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 71-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hill City/Northland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

East Central will head out on the road to take on Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hill City/Northland, they will be home for the holidays to greet Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
