It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but High Tech Mesa had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Preuss UCSD Tritons 49-27. The Thunder have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for High Tech Mesa, bringing their record for this year to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points over those games. As for Preuss UCSD, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

High Tech Mesa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-25 loss against Southwest SD on the 19th. Preuss UCSD does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
