Basketball Recap: Gunderson Grizzlies vs. Pacific Grove Breakers

Gunderson and Pacific Grove squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Gunderson had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pacific Grove Breakers, falling 56-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Grizzlies have suffered since January 20th.

Pacific Grove got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Nimri out in front who went 10-for-16 to rack up 23 points and three steals. The game was Nimri's 13th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Edmonds, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 14 points along with seven boards and three blocks.

Gunderson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Pacific Grove, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
