Baker and Theodore are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Hornets will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Baker is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 3-0 to St. Luke's Episcopal on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Theodore unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Bryant on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-6.

Baker might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Theodore in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
