Basketball Recap: Commodore Perry Comes Up Short

Commodore Perry lost against Cranberry Area back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Commodore Perry Panthers had to suffer through a 59-26 loss at the hands of the Cranberry Area Berries. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.

Commodore Perry's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Saxe, who posted 13 points, and Taylor Varner, who had three points.

This is the second loss in a row for Commodore Perry and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Cranberry Area, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Commodore Perry will host Youngsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Commodore Perry is facing Youngsville at the right time seeing as Youngsville is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Cranberry Area, they will challenge North Clarion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
