Basketball Recap: Mexia Skates Past Teague with Ease

Mexia won the last time they faced Teague and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mexia Black Cats blew past the Teague Lions 69-41. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Black Cats had established a 27 point advantage.

When it comes to explaining why Teague lost, don't look at Brayden Leija. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Leija a new career-high in blocks (two). Clifford Coleman was another key player, putting up 16 points and six rebounds.
