Basketball Recap: Grand Meadow Comes Up Short

Grand Meadow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Houston Hurricanes, falling 75-52. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Houston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Geiwitz, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Morgan Rohweder, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Grand Meadow's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Houston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

As of now, neither Grand Meadow nor Houston have any future games scheduled.
