Baseball Game Preview: Monacan Chiefs vs. Cosby Titans

Monacan hasn't had much luck against Cosby recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Chiefs will square off against the Titans at 5:00 p.m. Monacan will be strutting in after a win while Cosby will be coming in after a loss.

Monacan took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against James River Midlothian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chiefs had just enough and edged out the Rapids 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Cosby scored first but ultimately less than Clover Hill in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 8-7. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost four in a row.

The victory got Monacan back to even at 5-5-1. As for Cosby, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1.
